albert_smith
Here is a LINK to Mike Johnston's 37th frame issue in which he reviews (subjectively) several 35mm lenses from various brands. It makes some interesting reading, especially if you have some personal experience with any of the lenses mentioned. As for me, I have two of them and mostly agree.
There is to be a follow-up article where more samples are discussed (as a subscriber to the paper copy, I have been waiting for it), and Mike is to give his opinion about which lens from these many samples is "best".
This is a PDF, and takes a bit of time to load, but once up, it is very readable. george_shihanian
I tried the link, got to the 37th frame site, and it shows that it was downloaded, but all I get are solid black pages in Acrobat Reader ....

joel_matherson
I liked the quote in there that said Leica never admits to the flaws of its products until after it fixes them! How very very true!!
Robin Smith
Reading all this guff, I suddenly thought that a) Mike Johnson has a lot of time to waste and b) I must have too! Robin Smith
