amanda_parker
I had a photographer take pics at a big party and he gave me thenegatives. I'm looking for a "professional" quality lab to make about50 prints/enlargements and will need cropping and color correction. Ilike the Fuji matt paper for its "professional album" look. Anyrecommendations of labs in the Hollywood/San FernandoValley/Westside/Conejo Valley area that are really good & reasonablypriced? Thanks! dfdncithekxlbn8kaglf33
A&I is one of the best on the planet, so it makes sense to check them out.
r.t. dowling
Definitely A&I. I'm on the east coast and I use them, so if you're nearby, you should definitely give them a shot.
fuck
I'll go along with that. A&I is the only lab I ever use. The annex on Sycamore (west of Highland, east of La Brea, south of Santa Monica Blvd., and north of Romaine) is open from 7am until midnight during the week. Noon to 7pm on Saturday and 2pm to 10pm on Sunday. This is where the Frontier stuff is done. Drum scans and LightJets are done right next door at the prints and digital location, open Monday through Friday 8am to 7pm.
Here's a link to the price list. This is the entire price list for everything they do, but this link takes you right to the machine reprints from C41 part of it.
They treat my crappy pictures with the same care as the considerably more commercially and financially valid stuff that David Hockney and Larry Flint Publications drops off there.
