z_z1
Have any of you tried loading two sheets into a hanger? Both sheets would have their emulsions facing out. This way I could do 12 sheets at once instead of 6.
lex_jenkins
Someone recently mentioned having heard of another photographer loading two rolls of films, back to back, emulsion sides out, onto a single reel. Might be worth a try. Sheet film tends to fit fairly loosely in those hangers anyway so there should be enough room for circulation. The only disadvantage I can think of is that this may interfere with dissolving any anti-halation backing. It may also cause permanent marks if the film backs stick together during development. terrence_brennan
I tried the roll film back-to-back trick when I was in university...the results can only be described a disastrous! It might work for sheet film, although if you have lots of film to process, why risk damaging or even destroying your efforts in order to save time?
