z_z1
My Cambo has a graflok back. If I remove the part with the focusing screen the scan below shows a piece of metal that can slide down at an angle towards the opening. What is this slider for?<div></div>
ellis_vener_photography
That slider is the "lok" in Graflok. It slides over the plate used to attach roll film holders, fits into the slots on the side of Polaroid backs, Fuji Quickload and Kodak Readyload holdrs and Sinar rollfilm holders, and puts pressure on the long sides to hold standard Fidelity/Lisco/Elite/etc double sided film holders. dan_fromm1
Also holds grafmatics. You can slide film holders (dark slides, our confusing UK brethren say) between the focusing panel (the part with the focusing screen, you say) and the back of the camera without using the sliders at all. Your camera should have two of the sliders, one above and the other below, slides upwards.
daniel_blakeslee
The Graflok on Keith Canham's metal (wood, too?) 5x7 cameras holds his nifty new 6x17 rollfilm back. It is the only 5x7 that has a Graflok back as far as I know.
kelly_flanigan1
The Graflok back is also on Speed Graphics that are 3x4" size; smaller than the standard 4x5 Speed Graphic with Graflok
