Film Camera Week for March 8

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread.  Post all the images you like from any film camera.  I did not get any darkroom work done this week so I will post some older images.  I've selected some square format images.  Camera and film noted. My first image from a Windsor (basically a Diana).  Film was Plus-X.

Some from a Kiev 88CM using either a 150mm Kaleinar-3B f/2.8 or a 50mm CZJ Flektogon f/4 lens, as noted. The film was Kentmere 400 developed in Spur Acurol-N

Very smooth for Kentmere 400 Rick. Any secrets?

No, no secrets. The Spur Acurol-N developer tends to minimise grain, while I guess the 120 format subdues it in the final image. I find Kentmere 400 (and most other regular grain 400 ISO films) too grainy for my taste in the 35mm format.

Well I flim-flammed myself...as usual. Last week I noted a process error that resulted in fogging most of a roll. On "my list" by camera were; Rollei T, Signet and Kodak 35 RF. However, the 645 film allegedly from the Rollei was actually from the Mamiya 645 S. I had developed the Rollei roll already weeks (months) ago.  So the 15 wasted  fogged images were from the Mamiya.
So the Rollei T generally delivers. I put the 645 adapter in, and I've never taken it out. Although I did develop those other rolls ...and then some. I will just do the correction for now.. and leave it at that... I will save the other catastrophes.. ummm rolls.... for another post.

Exceptionally, I am using Acros II souped in Pyrocat HD

I recently scanned some 126 negatives from 1969-70.  Camera was Kodak Instamatic 124.  Optimum sharpness is about 15 to 20 feet some some of these are outside that range.  Film was Kodacolor-X which was ISO 80.  Flashcube for indoor shots.

My sister with three younger kids in the neighborhood along with family cat.  Car in background is a 1965 Impala.

While the Kodacolor-X wasn't in too bad a shape after all these years, some GAF print film didn't fare so we;ll.  Another shot of my brother with GAF color.  I made some attempts to correct color but I may have needed a better post processing program.  The GAF 126 film BTW, came with a free flashcube.
