mjferron
These are from the Nikkormat FT3 and AI 50mm F2 lens. Film was Arista Pan 100 developed in Rodinal 1-25 for 6 minutes. The camera's meter was malfunctioning so this is not a good outing to judge the film. 7

bruce_z._li2
Last weekend I tried a new color negative film, Lomography CN400 in 120, since it was on sale before the holidays. The camera was a French TLR Semflex Oto B, with a Som Berthiot Flor 75/3.5 lens. The Flor is a Tessar design with very pleasing rendering, although its flare resistance (coating?) is worse than its German and Japanese competitors. Home developed in fresh Bellini C41 chemistry. rick_drawbridge
It's currently our annual 4-day Cruise event, bringing together the owners of mainly American vehicles from all around the country. I've shot mainly digital due to the sheer volume of interesting entrants, but I managed to capture a few images using the Yashica 230-AF with either the 35-105mm or 28-85mm Yashica (Kyocera) f/3.5-4.5 lenses. The film was Arista EDU Ultra 100 developed in Spur Acurol-N . gary green
Some boring test shots from the first roll through my Agfa Jsolette with 85mm, f4.5 Apotar lens featured in the "What camera ..." thread. Nothing artsy here. I managed to take advantage of a lull in the rain to get these shots. My goal was to test basic exposure and focus as well as ensuring the bellows were light-tight. All shots hand held. Since the lens is scale focused, I used a laser distance measure to determine the focus setting. Film was Kentmere Pan 400 developed in HC-110. Close focus test - 3ft - 1/100 @ f5.6 Mid-distance test - 15ft - 1/100 @ f5.6 200% crop of black label on switch box Distance test - 50ft - 1/100 @ f8 100% crop of windmill tower Overall, I was very pleased with these initial results. Focus is accurate, exposures were good (for a dull day), and the Apotar lens has good center sharpness. Out-of-focus rendering (bokeh) is also pleasing. 8 1

Very impressed ..again ...with your home processing C41. This film (lens) seems to render nicely. Some lens do seem to flare a lot easier than others. I have/had a theory. My Yashica Mat 80mm Yashinon suffers from this. also a TLR. I believe it was contributor JohnS who mentioned internal reflections may be causing this and he had doctored a TLR with more internal masking to cut down on possible reflections. IDR if he added masking paper or painted a flat (er) black to overcome this?!?
