bruce_z._li2
As I continue to explore the wonderful world of compact 35mm cameras, here are a few with Olympus XA2 with Zuiko 35/3.5 lens. Film was long expired Elitechrome 100 cross-processed in C41. The setting was Hakone Japanese Gardens. Maples getting red in summer already? chuck_foreman1
Ahh Great posts.. Summer is closing I am showing pics from earlier this year.. I'd have to look at the dates??? These pics were done using the (merger Zeiss/Voigländer) meager Vitessa 1000. A rather small camera..it boasted an RF, a CdS lightmeter, Prontor 1000 shutter, flash hotshoe, but best of all the 2.8 42mm Tessar . I am generally pleased with the rendering, so that I often come back to this camera. I bought while working/traveling in CA in the late 1980s.. it was not terribly expensive. . As I was generally using color slides then, I found this ideal for checked luggage small and handy.I lent it to one of my brothers, to try out... a few years later I go to visit, and see this forlorn camera. an My brother says" I don't know where that came from"... "I do". Anyway, the frame that held the glass frontal piece in place was damaged, (I have the glass piece, but no retainer frame left.the RF didn't work accurately anymore, also the lightmeter seems to be off 1-2 stops but I digress. I find I like the FL a lot and as opposed to the lsat post with the S310, same lens.(well 40mm), this lens does ok for its age. APX100 D76 1:1 Straight scans.. One sorry looking camera eh? Ummm the one on the left. Side Portico St Antonius Church View to Vodafon I've probably posted this view before; I think this was a school or a small candy factory...
