Matt Laur
Note: Consider keeping uploads no larger than 1600 pixels on the long side when it matters, and sticking with 1000 pixels when the image feels no pain at that resolution. On data size/compression, try to keep things under 1mb, shooting for 600kb when you can stop there. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). New to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here: https://www.photo.net/forums/topic/398109-guidelines-for-nikon-forum-wednesday-image-threads. For now, we're sticking with 1, 2, or 3 images per week as you see fit. A random pick from the past for this Wayback Wednesday, so it's no rules: go!

ShunCheung
I am also dipping into the archives. Way back in 2009, I went to a pro tennis match at Stanford University. Apparently the girl who flipped the coin before the match was Cici Bellis, who was a ten-year-old tennis prodigy. Fast forward eight years, Cici Bellis was a pro, rising-star tennis player herself at 18 and was practicing at Stanford. Unfortunately, her tennis career was cut way short due to injuries and she retired in her early 20's. Top image: July 2009, Nikon D700 with the first version of 70-200mm/f2.8 @ 200mm, f2.8, 1/500 sec, and ISO 400. The tennis player whose back was facing the camera is Ai Sugiyama, who retired later on that year. Bottom image: July 2017, Nikon D5 with 300mm/f4 AF-S VR PF @ f4, 1/3200 sec, and ISO 800

But I do think when she decides to get married, I'm going to enlarge this so her future husband has some idea what he's getting.
