A long time ago , in a very different world , there was an Australian Singer/Commedian by name Rolf Harriss , one of the Songs in his repetoire was called "My Boomerang Won't Come Back".

The members of this forum however prove that there are those who still "know how" , and that "old , obsolete technology" does still work.

To shoehorn some cameras into this thread, I searched Camera-wiki for a boomerang, but the Boomerangflex doesn't exist.

It seems the Kodak Super Six-20, the first camera to have auto-exposure, was nicknamed 'the boomerang' because of the frequency with which it came back to the factory for repair; and the Dalka Candid A20 has a 'Made-in-Australia' boomerang symbol on the front.

There is an Ernemann Rolf I, a simple folding camera.

Rolf was an Australian, so he probably sang it too. He sang novelty songs and anything Australian would be his thing. He was very popular in my youth, before his fall.
