Gunter Haibach
My attempt to make an “eye-popping” image, using colour and shapes. This is a composite of 2 pictures - picture of two vases and a “bouquet” of weeds. Post processing in P.S. and Topaz Studio. Any ideas how to improve this image, and did it please your eyes? inoneeye
It is pleasing. Makes me think of some of Chihuly’s work in the colors and energy and texture. The skew? i n o n e e y e

inoneeye
Hi Gunter. Not really a skew, more of a drop off line on the light stripe at the base on the right side. The right side drops more than on the left. The light strip draws my attention but not being parallel to the frame at the bottom it keeps my attention on it. Being no stranger to making my images skewed I was wondering if it was intentional? Edited May 13, 2023 by inoneeye i n o n e e y e
JDMvW
interesting, but I'd crop out the horizontal band at the bottom . Edited May 13, 2023 by JDMvW
Robin Smith
Bottom tilts right but big vase tilts left - where does this leave us? I like it. It's pleasant, which sounds damning, but isn't meant to be. This is the kind of shot that is somewhere on the scale between photography and "digital art" or similar.
