gary green
... Our water is probably pretty adequate! ... I don't know, Rick. I think a little Lake Huron water in your developer might brighten up those dreary wintry pics. ;)

Donald Harpold
Hello Here are some from a Pentax K1000 with XX in D76 1-1 I found these a bit contrasty, would lessening the agitation reduce that? Nothing spectacular just another test roll to see if I will keep the camera Thanks Don
James Bryant
Hello Here are some from a Pentax K1000 with XX in D76 1-1 I found these a bit contrasty, would lessening the agitation reduce that? Nothing spectacular just another test roll to see if I will keep the camera Thanks Don D76 is tricky because it will produce blocked highlights if the development time is too long. I would suggest reducing the development time. If my memory is correct I used to agitate the first 30 seconds then 5 seconds every 30 seconds. Ricochetrider
a bit of a throwback here, with 2 120 shots from 2021. IIRC this was Ilford Pan F Plus 50 in the Hasselblad 500cm- perhaps using the 250mm Sonnar lens?

Mike Gammill
Thanks, mjferron. I've only used this film one other time: back in 2010. At that time I was still scanning prints of my negatives since I did not have a way to scan negatives. Use the same developing time as I did back then: 5' at 68F using Kodak HC110 dilution B. While not inexpensive, 80S is still less expensive that some other films. Also, it is available in 100' bulk rolls. I think for now I will just be satisfied with shooting an occasional roll of it. I like the clear base and it lies flat in the scanner. And the extended red sensitivity is good. When I start the new weekly thread tomorrow I will have some more shots from that roll, including some with filters.

Reminds me of the classic Black & White look with nice classic Zeiss or Leitz glass. Your photos are superb. Keep them coming.
