psychophoto
About a year and a half ago I bought some Fuji FP-100C when the Polaroid pack film I usually used at the time was out of stock. Since then I've used nothing but the Fuji stuff for proofing. I swear it's more accurate than the Polaroid stuff, the color is more accurate, and it's a helluva lot sharper. Those are my impressions, anyway. However, I haven't really heard much about it, about other people using it. So I'm just wondering if any of you use it and what you think of it. Thanks! ellis_vener_photography
I'd use more of it if I could easily get it in 4x5. Have you compared to Polaroid Type 689 (ProVivid)? it is the same emulsion but with a different base. But for the medium format and 35mm proofing, it is great. gary_watson
Ellis, isn't ProVivid identical to Fuji FP100C, as per a conversation we had here some years back? BTW, Fuji.ca lists 4x5 FP100C, so I assume Vistek in Toronto could easily ship it south.
