Glenn McCreery
There are no rules as to how you apply your post processing to this image; but, please let us know what you have done so we can all learn. If you would like to post a candidate image next week, please ensure it is of sufficiently high resolution for manipulation by the participants (3000px on the long side, 300dpi for example). Most of all, let's have fun while we are learning or demonstrating how we use our post-processing software, imaginations and interpretations. The photo is of a park in Morro Bay, California Edited January 2, 2021 by Glenn McCreery
michaellinder
Interesting park, interesting photo. Good job, Punta. PSE2020: Changed crop to square, used camera distortion filter slightly to modify both horizontal and vertical perspectives. Then converted to b&w using Silver Efex. Back to PSE, adjusted tonality with levels, then sharpened. Edited January 3, 2021 by michaellinder
PuntaColorada
Happy New Year to all! Thank you for posting Glenn. I saw the strong shapes of the whale tail, the seal and the kiddie ride and wonder what they would look like as a cutout showing another image (beach scene here in UY used before in PPChallenge). I was surprised how little the resulting shapes resembled those in Glenn's image.
frankmercer
I used Luminar 4 to add some clouds and color to the sky, and also to increase saturation of the foreground.
michaellinder
Glenn, my sincere apology. I guess I assumed that Punta posted the OP.
tom_r
Thank you for uploading, Glenn! Here's a simplified version with a little color adjustment. I appreciate getting the locations too. It's fun to look them up on the internet. Edited January 5, 2021 by tom_r

michaellinder
Free Willy! :) Tom, are you sure about Willie? I see a sperm whale, a seal or sea lion, and what I take to be a humpback. Willie was an orca. (Just slightly busting your chops.)
