Matt Laur Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! Strange times! Here, it's a ghost town, but with everybody home. I've been outside at length, and not a car to be seen or heard in normally humming suburbia. I know there are people all around me, but they're being ghosts, just like me. Another couple of weeks in hunker-down mode, and Nikon Wednesday's going to get even stranger! So, share some photos and make it more normal. Please! Z6 with Nikon 16-30 (adapted). 4
rodeo_joe1 Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 I went on a Vinyl/Laser-cutting course just before everything was closed down. Pictures have to be converted to 'Lith' form to be cut or etched, and this was one idea I tried out. Original was shot with a D7200. FWIW, the speckled background would need blanking out in order to be vinyl cut. Too much 'weeding' needed. 'Weeding' is the name for plucking the unwanted material out of the cut artwork. 5
