arthur_mcculloch2
So, no photos, but a picture of my recent acquisition (this weekend is high rain - we have gone from drought, level 4 restrictions on water use, to flood). But the camera. It has a roll of 'Lomography Earl/Lady grey' in it. I think it's either efke or foma. 100 ASA. Any advice of processing - using at the moment Ilfosol 3. Regards, Arthur, (apiarist1) I'll post photos next week, but any advice on processing. My first foray was not good. And to think of it, what filter size I need. I have some 46mm filters, but they seem too big. Thanks, Arthur (apiarist1). It's an ultron f2. They are not easy cameras to hold and they are very heavy, and neck straps have saved the day for me on several occasions. If it's the Ultron lens you have, it takes an oddball 45mm filter, and I bought a couple of step-down rings to enable the use of accessories in my possession. Here are some images from the Praktica PLC3 camera I featured in the "What camera weekend..." thread. The lens was the 50mm Pentacon Electric MC f/1.8, and the film was Arista EDU Ultra 200 developed in PMK Pyro. I recently upgraded my Epson scanner from the V700 to the V800, which used LED lighting instead of the fluorescent I'm accustomed to, and I find subtle differences in tone and contrast that I'm still coming to grips with. Don Harpold
I have the V800 also and I am very happy with it. I use the Epson software mostly but on occasion use the supplied Silverfast.
