arthur_mcculloch2
Billblackwellphotography - quite elegant and beautiful. JDW - an essay in composition. Bravo. Stric1975 - apart from warning about the 'chat noire' (I am presuming the cat is a she), what a charming shot. And MarcelRomviel, your shot has lead me to my photos. We had our 'toy run' today. A fund raiser for the Salvation Army (somewhat tarnished of late). Just back now. There was some serious machinery to behold (put my pissweak 750 guzzi to shame). So a sample: And some of the riders: We all grow old, disgracefully. And of course, the obligatory Police (we call the highway patrol here 'cockroaches' - they just keep coming back). They gave us an 'escort'. The file doesn't seem to want to load. I really do think there is a God. All done with my monochrom and go to lens. So, a last look. arthur_mcculloch2
And I'll add two more (Bessa T, HP5 developed in ID-11, with a 90mm lens. HP5 is a dog. The Bessa T is a treat, though it does need to be got used to. Not really a 'go to' camera). Like I said, we grow (and it's mainly blokes) old disgracefully.
christopher_a._junker1
Art, nice series on the bike riders. Glad to see all the helmets.
arthur_mcculloch2
Thanks Christopher. I like to paraphrase a verse from the NT James (although, it should be Jacob, but that's another story): 'faith without a helmet is dead'. arthur_mcculloch2
Robin, hail and well met. I have seen your road sign before in other posts. You are blessed. A road named after you. And I don't know what you shoot with, but post a couple of shots. It would be good. Regards, Arthur
Robin Smith
Hi Arthur, I don't really post weekly any more. I used to for Leica and Canon, but nowadays I seem to be doing one big upload once a year - saves on brain power. I have enough deadlines already. So you can check out my portfolio, such as it is, here on PN. 1 Robin Smith
