'Tis the season! Spring feels more springy with some backyard wok-ing. Any other PN member rites of spring to show on this Nikon Wednesday? Share some photos!wok_veggies.thumb.jpg.d157517008e6e41712187d5a7fdd1b09.jpg

She was probably close to 14, couldn't stand up on her own, could barely walk, and then finally quit eating to tell us it was her time. She was the bestest.823809692_BrandyRed029-2.thumb.jpg.314fb8382461fae1e299b29f9d3e4120.jpg

When she was a young gal. I would have shot this with my D70 back in the day.

Thank you for sharing, Yardkat. So sorry for your loss - she looked a lovely girl. It's been a year and a half since the second of my cats died - we're fostering a stray temporarily, but I'm really not ready yet. We never have them for long enough, we just have to be thankful for the time that we have with them.

Is that your backyard?

Bebu, please keep in mind that I live in the Silicon Valley. I am lucky enough to have a roof about my head. Over here, unless you are the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, etc., there is no such concept of a backyard. :D

Aha! I see now. You guys make more money there but the houses are more expensive so the cameras are relatively cheap as we probably buy from the same place.

Thank you, Andrew, I remember your post when your kitty died! It's so hard to lose them. We lost two dogs this year, our house is really empty now. But like you, I need some time. I will miss her for a long time.

And thank you, jose_angel, she was very distinguished with her white eyebrows! :)

To me, barbecue season stretches from January 1st to December 31st, but the oystercatchers return with spring. This one is from Åland, an independent part of Finland:
