mikehegarty01
Punta thanks for posting an image today. All work in Gimp. I cropped in on on the cross walk signs and changed the aspect ratio. I used the clone tool to remove the two post at the start of the cross walk. I used the path tool to select figure in the sign in the upper left corner and made three copies. Then I added a text layer.
michaellinder
A really good image choice, Punta. Initially, using PSE15, I cropped from the left and top to eliminate the light pole, the black car, and some of the sky. Then, I used on of Color Efex's vintage film filters, followed by a levels adjustment in PSE. Sharpened with Output Sharpener.

michaellinder
2nd version Initially changed crop to landscape in PSE. Then used spherize filter, 150% in reverse, to distort the horizontal, and applied the cutout filter. Added red in the sky with replace color tool. Cropped from both sides to create square format. Then applied Output Sharpener.
conrad_hoffman
Cloned out drain in Paintshop Pro 2019, used pencil drawing filter in Painter Essentials 6, then back to Paintshop Pro for a "platnium" filter.

tom_r
Ok, second attempt. This time with adjustments, cropping and cloning in PS, sent to one of my favorite programs Akvis Sketch, then to GRFX Studio for a frame. Downtown Sketch
PuntaColorada
Kelowna is a beautiful city nestled on Lake Okanagan. They have a lot to be proud of. In LR, I cropped and added an exposure gradient at the top to darken the sky a bit. I also opened up the shadows a bit. In PS, I selected the letters individually using the pen tool and put each on its own layer using copy and paste. I filled the holes by reselecting the letters and using content aware fill. I had to go back and use the healing brush to clean things up. I couldn't find a good anagram using all of the letters of PARAMOUNT so I took the easy way out. All that was needed was to move the letters into place. I added a Canadian flag from another of my images, put a border on the whole thing and then went back to LR to add a vignette and export. I am sorry if I offend Trump supporters or any of our American cousins. I'd expect a Tweet at any time after posting this except I'm not on Twitter.
frans_waterlander
Totally uncalled for.

michaellinder
Totally uncalled for. If you are the Frans Waterlander who authored The Obama Doctrine: Socialism, Corruption and Economic Collapse, you must know about the danger of making assumptions about a photograph. Anyone who produces documentary photographs brings with them all his/her socio-political beliefs, some of which may indeed be biases. Art doesn't necessarily presuppose rationality. frans_waterlander
If you are the Frans Waterlander Guilty as charged.
