Sanford
Anyone just do the latest itunes update and lose access to Safari? I still using Yosemite so I can keep PSE8.
The Shadow
It’s possible the Safari icon just disappeared from your dock. Check your applications folder for Safari. If you see it, launch it from there and then reinsert it into your dock. There’s always something new under the sun.
Sanford
I've tried plenty of bookmarks-its just gone with a warning box. Firefox can do as well or better.
The Shadow
I didn’t suggest trying bookmarks which can easily get corrupted. I suggested looking for and launching the actual application. Then again, if you’ve found a good alternative and no longer need advice, maybe ask a moderator to hide, lock, or delete this thread. And, you’re welcome. There’s always something new under the sun. Ed_Ingold
The current version of Safari (12.0.2) is not compatible with Yosemite. Consequently it will disappear from the dock or be replaced by a grey question mark, and will not open via Launcher. For the moment, the latest Safari is still compatible with High Sierra. I have several key applications which recommend against updating the OS to Mojave.
Sanford
Apple just redid their iTunes update and now Safari works again. Must have had millions of complaints.
