clark_roberts
Hi all, I have a Rolleiflex 3.5F and have two screens for it a split image rangefinder and a microprism, my question is when you switch screens do you have to make adjustments when using two different screens? I ask this because when I have the original split screen in the camera at infinity lines come together but with the microprism it distorted (out of focus). Ed_Ingold
If the screen was made specifically for a Rollei, it should need no adjustments
SCL
OEM screens shouldn't need shimming, but 3rd party, even though ground and sized for a particular camera, often need shimming.
Ed_Ingold
Rollei screens are plastic, even the originals. They fit snugly into a thin metal frame which tilts up for removal. Make sure the frosted/fresnel side goes down.
