Bill Bowes
I "discovered" an orphaned roll of Fuji Color in a Vito II kit recently, so here is a frame. Las Vegas during a business / HS reunion stay. Bill
rick_drawbridge
Great start to the week! We finally had some more settled weather this past week and I managed to get a couple of films shot. Here are some frames from a Bronica S2a fitted with the 135mm Nikkor-Q f/3.5 lens; the film was Ilford HP5 Plus developed in PMK Pyro and scanned on an Epson V700 Photo using Silverfast SE software. Mike Gammill
It might be a 1962 Chevy. I'm not as familiar with that model as others. From the front fender it looks like it might have a 409. The '62 was the first year of the 409 which replaced the 348 as the big block option. richard_
Across the Bay from Norfolk Virginia is Old Town Portsmouth where on High St. you'll find the beautifully restored Commodore Theatre. Opened in late 1945, (and named after Commodore James Barron) had about 1000 seats. Currently, the new owner made changes to accommodate dining. rick_drawbridge
It's a little quiet on the thread this weekend; perhaps the onset of the Northern winter is slowing the photographic activities of many members. Anyway, just to keep things going, here are some images from a roll of Ilford FP4 Plus, shot with a Canon FD T70 fitted with a Tamron Adaptall II 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 (Model 40a) and developed in PMK Pyro. Mike Gammill
Thanks, Rick. Not as much activity this weekend. I've watched a lot of college football today but will finish up some film after church tomorrow and do some developing. My wife and I are off all week for Thanksgiving. May get through a few rolls. Bill Bowes
Hello everyone. Rick's choice of Walter Lang's grave cross is well chosen. If one remembers history, World War I or "The Great War", ended on 11-11-1918, the same day Sgt Lang was KIA. Do a Google search & he shows up quickly. . .One of the last American victums of that war.
Rick_van_Nooij
Cheers Bill and Rick, Lang is one of 7 men buried at Flanders Fields that were killed that morning when the armistice was signed. I did indeed pick his grave for the photograph for that very reason. At 11am there was a small commemoration held in the center of the cemetery, with a delegation of American boy scout and girl scout troops there. Julio Fernandez
Well done Rick! We had a very windy weekend. This is what happens in our coast when the wind comes. Cars get a nice wash when the wave comes. Nikon F2 with 50/1.4, FP4+ in DK-50 (just found an old can).
