photoriot
Now when you draw a line on the photo in my interactive slide show, your gesture is mapped into color space to pick the next photo. The responses seem more meaningful when you trace or respond to something in the picture - the effort predisposes you to see the program trying to connect, and the lines you get by drawing at different details do a better job of exploring the space.

This adds to keyword-based exploration that associates photos on concepts while playing with contrast, brightness, and other dimensions. The concepts are scripted and discussed like Sesame Street characters, and mouse behavior is used to direct the search in subtler ways.

The goal is an AI that feels alive like an animal. It has an artificial heart that interacts with the mouse and picture choice, a strand of simulated DNA you can see on its own at 1 frame per second. Like a mammal, you can watch the heart beating even when you are not making eye contact.

http://phobrain.com
