<p>Igor, I too chose monochrome (conversion and other adjustments in Silver EFEX after cropping in PSE 11).</p><div></div>

<p>Lots of little edits, mostly with a Lightroom adjustment brush, all with the intent of isolating our protagonist in his light-filled, colorful, glass-walled world. I devibranced, desharpened, declaritied, and darkened the real world outside, and did the opposite in the foreground (after adjusting exposure, partly with two gradients).</p><div></div>

<p>I darkened the background and converted it to black & white then added the Orton Effect to the entire image. The sad traveler glows with his inner thoughts!<br>

<p>And a try at an abstract version. Cropped in PSE11, applied solarizing filter in Color EFEX, and then used PSE's correct camera distortion filter to enable the subject to put his best foot forward.</p><div></div>
