I agree with David - John that soft filter effect definitely came through, really lovely. I'm curious though, so can I ask what you used?

David, nice to see a close up from you.

Sadanand, lovely flowers images, that first one is quite striking.

My shots this week are from a patch of weeds I found in the back yard. It has been really windy for some weeks now, and because of the reach of the sun, later in the afternoon is better for shots, but worse for wind. I talking about trying to shoot little weed flowers being flung around by the wind. But an interesting side effect was a few missed focus shots - just as I hit the shutter button, the flower moved. Here is oof shot 1.

00dZp2-559158084.jpg.da172cbdb408ac084dae0c3413f15ab6.jpg

Anthea, David, Sadanand - thanks. Anthea, the filter was a Nikon Soft 2, which gives quite a strong effect on M43. That and a little flattening of contrast in post-processing. Sadanand and David, I do like your close-ups. Anthea your second shot looks not so much oof as very selective focus on the anthers at the top; it works well.
