Politics: there's one thing we can agree upon

Recommended Posts

Visually speaking, of course

Bernie: grumpy
Clinton: vile
Christie: x-large
Fiorina: ghastly
Trump: look at my hair!
Rubio: nice looking 'bot
Cruz: Cuban Canadian, really?
Carson: quiet
Kasich: bland
Perhaps, a *bigger* camera will make them look different? Nah...

I happened to cover several of the early 2016 presidential debates for TV, and also managed to shoot a few stills (of course, when shooting the more prominent candidates, I had to do my real job and couldn't take any photos). My lovely reporter is in the fourth frame:

A photo of me from one of the early debates was posted in the New York Times online edition, which I only just found: [scroll down to fifth photo]. (I'm on the left with my camera pointed up.) I knew I was in another NYT shot which was much wider, but I hadn't seen this one. I think I covered five debates in total (both RNC and DNC). It was a fun and interesting series of assignments.
