Old Monolight Elinchrom 500 : output sync missing !

I got an old flash monolight Elinchrom Professional Studio Flash System 500. It should have easily over 20 years of age and everything works well, but I have one important problem : I can't find the sync output/socket to put the cable on the back of the flash ! After carrefully looking around, could not find where to put it ! Do you have any idea how to plug the cable?</p>

<p>I think it is that hole next to the power cord socket. I think it's a cord with a 6.3 mm (1/4 inch) audio jack (plug) on the end, like this one: http://flashzebra.com/fivemetersync/0047.shtml (this is the first I found. I have no connection to this business).</p>

<p>No, the hole next to the powercord is for the umbrella (7mm). The sync-socket is the one that is above the "E" in "SWISS MADE".<br>

The one I link to has a 3,5mm jack in one end and classical Elinchrom in the other.<br>

But they also exists with a pc-sync (which can connect directly to some cameras) in one end and classical Elinchrom in the other. </p>

<p>It's on the top left of the monolight. Elinchrom sync cords screw into the head. You might want to go to their website and see if a manual is available.</p>
