Youth gone by. Gravity. Too many multi-hour tasks handled in front of a computer. Never enough sleep. It all starts to catch up! So there's now a strict new presence in the house. I'll be spinning my wheels, but in a good way.

So welcome to another Nikon Wednesday. Shot any necessary evils lately? Share some photos!

Went for a beachwalk Sunday - quite warm and humid for the South Coast - courtesy of remnants of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Dolores. We even got rained on (just a little). I had hoped for some nice sunset - but the cloud cover became thicker and thicker by the minute.

Last Sunday went to a wonderful airfield called Old Warden where the Shuttleworth Collection of vintage aircraft are housed. It was an evening display and by the time the aircraft had finished flying it was well into the night. The light coming from the hangers as the aircraft were being put away fascinated me and these are three of the resulting shots.

The Comet racer, won the 1934 England - Australia air race, and here is she is today fully restored and flying, now being gently put away for the night.

Dieter and John, you set the mark really high, right out of the gate today. Beautiful tonal work and composition! We did a canyon horse-drawn wagon tour in the Wisconsin Dells, last weekend. I blew out the highlights beyond repair in this high contrast scene, but it brings a good memory.

00dOyx-557709984.jpg.c3427e4a829f162c9d36179b1a1fd00c.jpg
