straw_man
I don't know if is the best, but personally, I am having a lot of fun with my Sony nex 7. I have low cost adapters that permit use of Leica and Canon screw mounts, Leica bayonet, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta, Canon FD and Zeiss Contax lenses. It has a crop factor of 1.5, and an incredible viewfinder.
Landrum Kelly
That sounds, good, Jack. I have the Sony NEX 3. I like it but miss a viewfinder--which I see that the NEX 7 has. I don't particularly like having to go into the menus. Still, if one learns it well, it could be easy. I have gotten some very good hand-held shots with it at dusk.

As for Fuji, I just found this:

http://www.dpreview.com/previews/fujifilm-x-t10

"Slightly-stripped down," it says, from the XT-1, but much less expensive--same sensor and processor, though.

--Lannie
