alexo
Hi,

You can't get Nikon lenses to work in Pentax 645. Their image circle is designed for a 35mm frame, and they're designed for a much shorter flange to film plane distance. No 35mm lenses can be adapted to work on med format cameras.
AJG
Nikon lenses are designed for 35 mm film/full frame digital or APS-C digital which are much smaller than the 6x4.5 format of the Pentax, so they wouldn't cover out to the edge of the frame. Also, the film to lens mount distance is longer so the Nikon lenses couldn't focus to infinity. So this wouldn't work except for some extreme close up work where the lens coverage might be adequate and the longer film to lens mount distance would be a necessity.
Brad Cloven
I acquired 2 Pentax 645 lenses (manual focus) from the bay and KEH for quite reasonable prices. If I recall correctly, I paid $190 for the 150mm (KEH), and $115 for the 45mm (the bay), completing my set with the 75mm on the regular 645 camera ($125 from a local wedding photographer long gone to digital). All three are pristine.

That's a heckuva setup for very little cash. Three stupendous primes on medium format for under $500.

The image quality is outrageous. Samples follow. Enjoy!

x

x
