Mike Gammill
In some parts of the world it is already Friday, August 7, and time to start our Classic Manual Camera weekend.
I have a couple of shots from a few weeks back plus one from a few months ago. Looking forward to seeing everyone's images and again I encourage newcomers to post here. As always, if you have a "fourth" picture, consider submitting it to the 365 day thread.

Mike Gammill
The 35-135 is one of my favorite zooms from way back. I bought it new at cost (since we had a Minolta dealership). Even at cost it still cost me around 300 USD. Never regretted it.

rick_drawbridge
One bright spot in the week was the arrival of a lovely old lens I've wanted for some time, the 200mm Sankyo Kohki Komura f/3.5. In a rare moment of sunshine I stuck it on a Canon 5D, and captured this portrait of the local wildlife from my verandah.

donald_miller5
Went to Ireland and brought my Russian "start" and a 1933 Edinex that I had not tested. That and my just starting my own processing left me with slim pickings. I was taking a photo with the Start and someone taps me on the shoulder and I turn around and just snapped this citizen posing.

Mike Gammill
Great shots, everyone. The variety and quality continues to impress. I was curious about the Edinex after seeing ads for it in some of the old photo magazines I inherited from my dad.
Hope to see some more before the weekend's over. And our sister thread over in Modern Film Cameras need some help so if you've got some images from an AF SLR or point & shoot, etc. please post them to give that thread a boost.
donald_miller5
To me the Edinex is just one of those that you fall in love with just from its shape and size. I had to buy it. It is a lot of fun. There s a picture of it in my thread "Diabetic in a candy shop" (6/30/15) with a range finder accessory on it. There are a few nice cameras there. Bill Bowes
Hello everyone. For many miles the natural boundaries of Washington and Oregon states is formed by the Columbia River. Thru it's course, heavy winds are channeled both inland and towards the Pacific. Today, many wind turbines share the landscape which for past ages has been the domain of grain farming and other agricultural activities. Here is a small sample outside of Silverdale, Wa., about 25 miles north of the state border with the Columbia. Bessa I, 400 Tmax @ 200asa, 25A filter, Pilot metering, 510-Pyro development & V600 scan. Enjoy, Bill

Bill Bowes
Up close with the monsters...300+ ft to the top pod, blades over 150 long (35 ft from the ground at the tip)...and VERY quiet. Green electricity (with a few warts). Same data as previous post. Enjoy, Bill
