Mike Gammill
Okay, let's get started for the first weekend in June. Same rules as before. I'll begin with a trio taken with the Minolta MD 24-50 f4. I've found it to be a nice walk around lens as long as I don't need the telephoto range.

Mike Gammill
While the 24-50 isn't exactly compact, it's not unpleasant to carry. It does have some barrel distortion at the wide end and as with any wide angle lens, aiming upward produces the "falling backwards effect" with buildings and other tall structures.

Mike Gammill
Third image. Like the first two, this image was made on an overcast day. Lens, btw, was attached to a Minolta XE-7.

Brad Cloven
Rick: Wow. "Frost" has a really nice feel. I don't know how to get that sort of feeling in B&W. Probably do-it-yourself processing.

John P: Love the Misty Morning Walk.

rick_drawbridge
Thanks, Brad. Yes, controlling the B&W process right through from the camera to posting here is important, though your image is very successful. Love the determined stance of the walker...
