lex_jenkins
The vendor is charging more, not Amazon or Photek. Each vendor selling through Amazon can set its own prices. A common trick among some vendors who offer Amazon Prime items (with free 2-day shipping) is to overcharge for the items to offset the "free" shipping.

Choose another vendor through Amazon, or just buy through Adorama. I usually prefer Adorama - including their Amazon outlet - or B&H for most online photo purchases. On rare occasions I've purchased through Amazon directly when Amazon is the fulfilling vendor.

Just ignore the vendors that jack up prices to offset their shipping costs. That's the one drawback to Amazon - it takes a lot of shopping around to find a good price and reasonable shipping costs from a reliable vendor. Amazon doesn't offer adequate tools to sort out the desired items from only the vendors we prefer.
mood_lover
Ah wow that makes sense, they even named it the "Softliter" maybe that helps them not index with similar vendors. Thanks for the tip, theyre very clever haha
ellis_vener_photography
Maybe it's because the Photek Goodliter and Softliter are different products? http://www.photekusa.com/index.php?p=
mood_lover
Where are you getting Goodliter from? That's not even mentioned in the first post.
