ray_scrafield
Hello all, I am new here but have been into picture taking for many years. I live in an area that is very conducive to great picture taking. The beach around Huntington Beach is phenomenal. I used to use a Canon A-1 but since digital photography came in, it is so much cheaper to go through the learning curve. My question here is this. Years ago, I bought a Vivitar 100-300 zoom/macro lens. In order to use it on the A-1 I had to install a TX mount. Now, I have a Nikon D40 and I want to try using the lens on that camera. I have the necessary mount for the Nikon but I can't for the life of me remember how to take the TX mount off of the lens. Can anybody give me some advice? I have played with this thing for two days but can't get it to come off.
Thanks for any help,

Ray
Lou_Meluso
Hi Ray and welcome. You may get an answer here but this question can be undoubtedly addressed in the Classic Manual Camera forum. If you get no reply ask there.
