purplealien
Happy Wednesday everyone. Lovely photos as always. I especially enjoyed Ilkka's ballerina series, Dieter's volcanos. and John H's flower.

I haven't taken my new 85mm off the camera yet. At the beginning of the week I was mostly still pointing it at my daughters......

Then two new family members arrived (please excuse slight user focus/DoF error)....

and they've been getting all the attention since......

JDMvW
Ancient history from me.

This was one of the first shots taken by me with my then-new Nikkormat FTn and probably the PC-Nikkor 35mm f/2.8. Kodachrome, of course.

How I love that lens and that film, but time passes on.

Andy Murphy
In WW II, General Mark Clark met with the Free French near Algiers to confer secretly with them prior to the Allied invasion of North Africa. To get there, he traveled on the sub HMS Seraph whose tower is now the monument pictured.
Mike, your subject may be a Tarantula.

sjmurray
Had to run out to take some pics for the Wed. photos. My neighbor has a maple tree that just dropped a zillion "helicopter" seeds, which dispersed themselves evenly all over their yard. That would be a lot of trees!
