Welcome all EOS shooters to week #27. As the heat increases we may seek out places to escape the summer heat. Museums with their air conditioning offer respite from high temperatures, so here's a shot from the Guggenheim in NYC. So, show us your early summer shots, or anything else you have been taking recently.

00cgLZ-549484584.jpg.97f952ecafbb9d2e7e8096de7ad1efa1.jpg

Here are some photos from our recent trip to Rome.
St Cecelia (I think) - Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri
The Forum with a storm moving in
My wife
This was on top of Castel Sant'Angelo, immediately after one thunderstorm and before the next. As you can see, there was a fair bit of charge in the air.

Peter, I love the first shot.
Many species of fungi don't come out until the summer heat and humidity are cranked up. No matter what the season, members of the genus Coprinus don't last long. This troop of Coprinus variegatus demonstrates how quickly they deteriorate.

00cgNn-549492384.JPG.4316bc0c090865ce12eeaf6291e60819.JPG

Canon 40D + Tokina 100mm/2.8 Macro
My favourite bloom from my wife's beautiful garden. It was about 3 weeks late this year due to our very harsh, 2013/2014 winter.
