There are plenty of reviews online. I tried to link some, but Photo.net wouldn't let me. Go to Michael Hohner's excellent site <http://www.mhohner.de/sony-minolta/bodies.php#digitaluc>, scroll to the extreme right, and there are several reviews linked there. This camera does have a high pixel count, but it is not a medium format camera.

I would read this thread first: http://diglloyd.com/blog/2014/20140116_1-Sony-A7R-shutter-vibration.html

Appears with nonnative lenses there might be some problems. No point in all those megapixels if the system itself cannot control vibration (the same reason I never even considered a pentax 67). Obviously, rushed into production with little testing.

on the Pentax its the mirror slap, the sony doesnt have a mirror, so how should it be the same reason?
I am an old fotografer, shooting all from APS-C to ULF 30x40cm but have never heard about
shutter vibration, even the big Sinar behind the lense shutter doesnt have issues.

Dani,
I think the 'hint' you got from Gareth was clear enough, though you didn't take the also not unclear hints given earlier.
But if stil not clear: you have to go and discuss your Sony somewhere else. The Sony is not a medium format camera. This is the Medium Format Forum.
See? ;-)

So do let us know about the vibration, but in the appropriate forum.
