lex_jenkins
It's a spoof. It was pretty funny a couple of years ago. And her first few videos were so deftly done it was difficult to know for certain whether it was a parody or she was really that clueless.

But like many parodies this one may have run its course. Same thing happened to Betty Bowers (America's Best Christian) and several other parody/satire shticks that started out well but became less funny as the writers and actors got too preachy and substituted personal outrage for comedy.

Actually, some of these pop culture satire/parody sites are still occasionally amusing, but their images are diluted a bit by social media. The videos and articles themselves may still be funny, but their Facebook posts and tweets often sound like an actor breaking character.
daverhaas
Its like any comedy - when done right it's funny - when done too close to the truth - it's sad. I still see a LOT of what she has recently posted going on today. Not that funny when it is so close to the truth.

Kind of like John Belushi's parody of Joe Cocker. It was so spot on it wasn't one bit funny imho. Completely unlike the parody of Blue Oyster Cult - (COWBELL - I got a fever and the only cure is more COWBELL!)

Dave

lex_jenkins
Kovacs was brilliant. Almost every sketch comedy troupe still references him.
