frederick_muller
Finally got a 10.5cm f2.5 Nikkor in leica screw mount (the model with a tripod socket). I'm surprised by how much smaller and lighter it is than the Nikon S Mount version. In fact, it's probably comparable to a Titanium 90mm f2.8 Elmarit-M. Heavy, yes, but managable. I've used the 105mm f2.5 Gauss design a lot on SLRs and love its images. Really looking forward to checking out the Sonnar.

paul_neuthaler
Frederick,
my first "extra" lense was a 105MM !2.5 Nikkor I bought in 1966 -- it was incredibly sharp; wonderful portraits. Enjoy.
Paul

Troll
The 90mm frame lines on the Leica M3 match perfectly with a 105 Nikkor.
