Saw the couple taking picture in the very unique sign on Embarcadero. Road. Grab my 77mm as quick as I can and turn to wide open and the unique moment is what this lens has been waiting for.
.
.

It might not be water as it sure looked crystal clear to me.

I may have used HDR on this picture.

Hin- assume use of B&W! How much did you stop down for that glass shot?
Dave-if Cinderella is running around with only the other shoe she must look like a glamorous Quasimodo
Patrick-nice take there.
Yury-always looks like you're out with a good time with your camera.

As for myself, I don't get out much, but I did a little this morning. Lots of deer , a few birds. Looks like we might get some snow in a couple of days.

Bluejay, Eagle Creek (IN). K5iis 600mm f5.6 A, cropped.
The next image was of a bird I have been trying to get a 'decent' image for the last couple of years. It always seems I have the wrong lens with me when I see them. This time I had my macro (100mm DA).

Golden Crown Kinglet. Indianapolis. K5iis DA macro 100mm cropped and exposure corrected.

Hin, #3 Exporatorium Entrance is quite dramatic!

A bunch of guys practice tightrope walking every Sunday at the downtown park. This one is with the Tamron 90mm SP Di lens

Same park; the bamboo grove is where couples etch their names in the hope of everlasting love. This one is with the MZ-S. Arista Premium 100 Kodak HC-110 Tamron 28-75/2.8.

I got my K-3 last week and have been acquainting myself with it. It really nice to shoot with and I feel like the ergonomics are a step up from the K-5. It seems a little noisier at high ISO than the K-5 which is maybe a little disappointing. I'm hoping I'll find good ways to work around it as I use it more.
First evening with K-3
.
Then yesterday my friend and I did a big mountain bike ride on a new (to us) trail a couple of hours away. The trail was fun but hard and our 38 Mile loop ended up taking about 6:45. I'm pretty pooped today!

Unlike Matt ahem ahem, I'm still K-3-less, but was greeted on this holiday by the yellow sticker on the door, so maybe tomorrow. . .in the meantime here are a couple of recent snaps from my commute with the Q. The small size is especially handy when I ride my mid-life crisis-inspired Vespa to work.
