bernard_wiessner
Can anyone give me a E.I. and development time for 35mm HP5+ souped in IlfosolS to a contrast index of 0.42 for my condenser enlarger? Thanks to all and a Happy New Year.
larry_lambert1
ouch that's a toughy!!! let's see, my experience with the 7:00 ilford spec has been pretty good, giving about .65 or so, to pull hp5 back 20 points my guess would be a 20% reduction in time, about 5.5 minutes or so. Sorry I can't be more definite, but i guess any response is better than none.
charles_dillon
I also have a condenser enlarger. So, I can understand your issues with regards to the Ilford dev times. I usually pull 25% on all their times. However, the exact amount of pull....as well as the asa...always depend on the contrast of the subject I'm shooting. Hopes that helps.
