tony_lockerbie
It's OK Mukul, neck exercise is vital first thing in the morning! I too love the Takumars, especially like the shot of the trees, did you use a 50mm 1.4?
Thanks for the post.
rick_drawbridge
Nice, Steve. Probably, a Spotmatic is the only 35mm camera one needs...Trees are nice and the nightlife is evocative. When I was younger, and in the wee small hours, it was not unusual to view a front door from that angle...

rod_larson
I find I am using my spotmatic more and more just because of the excellent M42 lenses that are available, and not only the Takumars. Nightlife is great.
DWScott
Steve, I also love the Taks, but credit goes to your eye!
I love Trees and Morning Paper (cricked neck aside.)
marc_bergman1
Steve,

This is nice work. I can just imagine walking along the trees in the late afternoon on my way to downtown. After a night of fun, waking to a strange sight at a slightly strange angle.

Thanks for sharing.
jason
Great set of images! I like "Nightlife" esp.I have used so many kinds of cameras, some cheaper, some more expensive The SP simply special.
Your pix show great images with a basic camera..Yet all those years ago, a SLR was the new way. the built in "behind lens metering" a big step forward.
My original Spotmatic was always available for other pros to use. They were using 120 film. It went to an Olympic type event where it became a main press camera..shot about 40~100 rolls a day for about 10 days..
