Good Wednesday to everyone. We are still at the beach. I wandered away from the sand and the shore to the marsh. Found a few subjects. Hope you enjoy.

Good Morning to Everyone this Wednesday,

Beautiful shots today as we've all come to expect; I especially enjoyed all of the bird photography today, particularly Shun's Rufous Hummingbird. But, Roberta, there's something about your Clapper Rail and its reflection--a superb shot. Spring is here, too, Cory! I've always wanted a beautiful lilac bush, but could never grow one where we used to live.

Spent the weekend backpacking Lake Somerville Trailway, lugging along the extra 3.75 pounds of D800 with the walk-around 28-300. Beautiful weather, not many people, plenty of birds and assorted wildlife. Not sure if I'm cheating with the stitched-together Black Vulture pic, but I consider it more a single image showing the wing-beat cycle than three separate images.
Broad-headed Skink, who kept circling the tree away from me as he scurried up.

Pipevine Swallowtail caterpillar, one of the more bizarre looking one we have around here.

Hi,
I was out to the nearby Zoo. All photos made with D300s, AFS Nikkor 200-400mm f/4 VR II. In the corner you can see the 100% crop of the owl's eye.
Thanks for viewing. Miha.

00bZ1d-532575584.jpg.a53a5e23249f4e72bf9471781896aa5b.jpg
