Hello Nikon folks, and a peaceful Wednesday to everyone. It felt like a good morning to enjoy what Spring is so busy doing, so it was out to a local redbud tree while there was still some early morning cloud cover. Cercis canadensis is always a beautiful lace of color seen along the edge of local woods, and its slightly eccentric way of flowering is very distinctive. Here's a view from 6 feet up a step ladder. Shooting indoors or out? Doesn't matter. Share a photo!

00bYuk-532407684.jpg.3c52901a39903879c57943945444460e.jpg

I started out intending to shoot some Delta 3200 in my F2 but initially forgot to put the batteries in it. I guessed the exposure for some inside shots but when I was able to meter it, realized I'd shot at roughly ISO 800. So I went with it! I shot the rest of the roll on a weekend visit to Galena Illinois and really like how the Delta 3200 looks at 800.

This first picture is of some ductwork and a chimney above the fire station.

The second image is of downtown Galena, facing westward.

And lastly, a shot from one of the old graveyards around town, near dusk.
