<p>Greetings from the depth of northern Ontario.<br>

Still mired in snow and cold here, so I was playing with add-ons and an indoor shot. The hardest part is knowing when to stop. I did 3 B&Ws of orchids and sent them to friends for them to select their favourite. This one came back as their choice. It's the one with the most 'sauce' added. I thought it was over the top. Go figure!<br>

<p>Playing around with Lab color space lately (no relation to "Labrador Retriever", down boy). Find it interesting, and it has become my latest "hammer". It's amazing, everything now looks like a nail.</p>

<p>Hi Nikon-folks, I haven't been posting in a while, I think I have a bad case of creative rut which has been on and off since last summer. Last Wednesday evening a friend of mine dragged me to the town to take some shots for a study he is doing for the city. So here's my shot for this week, my home town Tampere.</p>

<p>That's a gorgeous nighttime cityscape, Janne. Love the little detail of the fellow walking his dog in the lower left corner too. Your friend should drag you out more often. I know it inspires me to take more photos when friends or family drag me along with them.</p>
