andylynn
Seems to be a little quirk with FM2s, as I have owned 2 of them (both FM2n models) and they have done the same thing. Personally. I just get in the practice of what I do with my Mamiya C3 TLR, which is not to advance the film/shutter until I am ready to take the next shot. Makes it easier to avoid wasting frames. Oh, thanks, but I fixed that camera years ago! Michael’s advice was exactly correct. I shot a bunch of film on that camera then passed it on. (At the time I was picking up a lot of manual Nikons, cleaning them, shooting them for a while then selling them, to keep them in circulation.)
