hellobob
Nikon D300. How do I know when my image is enlarged to 100% on the monitor when I press the left side button to enlarge the image to check focus? I want to expand to 100% as I do when editing pix in my photoshop cs3 program.
Thanks for any response.
Matt Laur
On a D300, step-zoom all the way in, then back out one step. Remember that you're looking at a JPG rendered by whatever rules you've got set up in-camera - you might see loss of detail or JPG artifacts that aren't necessarily going to be present in a properly handled RAW file. And, you may see blown-out highlights that still have detail in the RAW file. And, of course, the LCD can't be trusted to gauge exposure or color - but it sure helps you see how you did with focus and composition.

Beautiful image.
Matt: Wow! I am totally impressed with your gallery of field dog pix. Matt Laur
Hey, thanks R J. I do love bird dogs. It's spring - time for me to get back out there and pick up some more ticks and poison ivy while chasing crazy dogs around.
