Hello from the California desert!

<p>I'm 66 and have shot Nikon for 25+ years from F 801s (film) through D200, D300, D5100, D700 and very soon a D600.<br>

I started photography in the 70's with B&W theory and lab courses and met my hero Ansel Adams during that time.<br>

Then I lost touch with photography while trying to earn a living (and 'living' too much) until moving to Asia in the 1990's. Asian travel rekindled my passion and I was off shooting from camel and elephant back, from river-rafts, tuks-tuks, long-tail boats, jeeps and such for four years.<br>

I've lived in Hawaii, Sand Diego and Hong Kong and shot in China, India, Thailand, Tibet, Myanmar, Bhutan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia the Philippines, Indonesia, Alaska & Italy. My last trip was a return trip to Bali in Oct '12 and some of those pix are loaded here.<br>

I also have shot parts of Oregon, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and of course many parts of California.</p>

<p>My next trip will be Santorini & Mykonos, Greece in Sept. '13.</p>
