virginia_john_mybusiness
So, the ones and zeros that make up "photographs" are inherently different than the ones and zeros put down by Adobe Illustrator? I guess it is my view that a digital image capture device, regardless of its type or origin is still a digital image capture device. It is a purely rhetorical argument over where those ones and zeros originated and what path they have followed.
For me the power of digital photography is that there is no clear boundary between the digital image captured in a camera and that created purely in the mind of the artist and produced by any other means. The tool the artist selects to produce the final digital image should be irrelevant to the merit of the final product.
