JohnMWright
I have trouble finding the details on Adobe's site.

Are there any major improvements to ACR in CS6 over CS5?

Is there a list of improvements anywhere? I'm only concerned with ACR, not the rest of Photoshop.

Thanks for any info!
JohnMWright
I found a non-Adobe site... http://www.photoshopcafe.com/cs6/CameraRaw-7.html

So it sounds like yes, it is considerably improved.

philrichardson
I had CS5 and then upgraded to CS6 when it came out. I felt there were significant improvements in ACR. I especially liked the new highlights and shadows sliders in the first tab (Basic).

2d
Wether there is an improvement to ACR I will say this upgrade has been horrible - months later and still crashing almost routinely. The clarity slider may be improved but honestly I feel I liked the look I was getting before 6, yes the dreaded ghosting is gone but a little too much an you have that horrible hdr look.
With Adobe's pricing it might not matter to skip an upgrade - but man am I sick of this program crashing something is not right with it's photomerge.
-------------- My Architectual Photography: Architectural-Cinematographer.com
