ulrik
It uses the series 93 drop-in filters like e.g. the FE 2,8/50 or the CF 4,0/40.
Ulrik
ian_humphrey
I can not seem to find these filters on e-bay and not sure what I am looking for as have never heard of drop in filters before. Is it possible you could send me a link or where else I might get them.
Thanks
Ian
ulrik
My ebay search gives a number of hits, e.g. article 121047028945. Drop-in filters have a mount but no thread, they are held in place by a filter retaining ring that screws into the front of the lens (and should be included with the lens).
Ulrik
evan_dong1
Ian,
This lens uses a Bay 93 filter. The lenshood for this lens has the retaining slot in the rear of the hood.
You place the filter with the glass that is flush with the filter ring at the front port of the lenshood. Meaning the indented portion of the filter is facing the optics. You will see a little on the filter once you get, then you will understand.
Below is a jpeg of the filter, lenshood, and the lens.
I sue this lens on my Hasselblad 201F and also on my Contax 645.
